Join Cal Poly STC
The three ways to apply for STC membership are:
- Obtain an official application at the next STC meeting; complete it;
get Advisor Matt Novak's
signature; mail both the application and fee to the STC main office
- Obtain an official application from Advisor Matt Novak or President Rachel Baumann; complete
it; get Matt Novak's
signature; mail both the application and fee to the STC main office
- Print out the unofficial online STC
application; complete it; get Advisor Matt Novak's signature; mail
both the application and fee to the STC main office
Student members can pay a reduced fee of $40. Remember that to join
as a student member, you must be:
- enrolled in an accredited university, college, community college, or
technical school
- taking at least two courses or their equivalent each term
- preparing for a career in technical communication--preferrably
through Cal Poly's Technical Writing Certificate
Program.
