Synopsis: Scorsese supervised the post production on this collaborative documentary on anti-Vietnam War demonstrations held on Wall Street and in Washington, D.C., in spring 1970. The film premiered at the New York Film Festival the following September. After its festival press screening, the filmmakers held an impromptu discussion of the film, and the antiwar movement in general, in a park in front of Lincoln Center. That discussion was filmed and incorporated into Street Scenes in time for its first public showing to festival audiences.
