Synopsis: Murray is a small-time criminal whose material comforts derive from his old association with boyhood friend Joe. Murray was sent to jail while Joe eluded the police, and then in hospital married his nurse. Ovlivious to the fact that Joe is still exploiting him and clearly having an affair with his wife, Murray continues to extol his friend's virtures.
